Presentation: Forests Over Time

  • Northern Rockies Museum of Culture & Heritage 225 Gregg Avenue Hinton, AB, T7V 2B7 Canada (map)

Aaron Jones is a Registered Professional Forester in both Alberta and BC.  He has worked in the Hinton area for the past 25 years. During this time, Aaron has been part of photo re-take projects that track how cutblocks change, grow, and reforest. This year, Aaron is re-taking photos once again and is going to share his work with us!

One of the most astonishing findings to date is just how much a forest changes in 20 years – if you think that forests are static and only change slowly over 100s of years, come see this presentation, and you may come out of it with a different perspective
