Margaret Schultz
Operations and Programming Manager
Margaret has been the Operations and Programming Manager at the NRM since January 2022. She holds an MA Public History from Western University and a BA History from the University of Alberta, specializing in Western Canadian history. She oversees everything we do at the NRM. Highlights from her time with us include successful archives and collections projects, epic axe throwing and murder mystery events, hosting hundreds of local student visits, and getting to know the wonderful volunteers who have made the museum their own. When she's not museuming, look for Margaret on the skiing or hiking trails around Hinton!
Daphna Strandlund
Summer Museum Assistant
Daphna is one of our Museum Assistants for summer 2026! Her exploits already include improving our tour, arranging the gift shop, and starting work on a pulp mill for our model train. We are privileged to hire her with funding offered through Elk Valley Resources and Young Canada Works in Heritage Organizations.
Sabrina Crespeigne
Summer Museum Assistant
Sabrina is one of our Museum Assistants for summer 2026! If you come to the museum when Sabrina is here, you’ll be welcomed warmly and engaged by her excitement about our local history. She is supporting our programs, coordinating tour booklet translation, and creating content for a local community anniversary.
