For the Trees

In our region, natural resource industries are close to home. In this program, students will take a hike to Hinton’s Forestry Museum and complete challenges there. On the walk back, we’ll take a look at the trees that surround our town. Then, we’ll pull it all together through discussion and hands-on activities, teaching students that forestry isn’t just a concept: it’s a history, a way of life, and one of the foundations of their home.

Travelling Program: This program can take place at the museum or in your classroom.
