Winter Traditions
Traditions celebrating midwinter, such as Solstice, Christmas, and New Year, are celebrated around the world. When settlers came to the Hinton area, they brought their traditions with them. In this program, your students will participate in traditions from Ukraine, Sweden, and China. We’ll sing, act out a story, and make a craft in order to show students some of the valuable and diverse traditions that created their community.
